Computer Rendering

CGI experts are being invited to take part in the fourth annual Architectural Visualization Competition (AVC) run by CGarchitect.com.

The only competition of its kind in the industry, it aims to tap into undiscovered talent through a series of challenges and qualifying competitions.

Each competitor selected for this year’s competition has to create a rendering and architectural film featuring an imagined interpretive centre located on the site around the Tower of Hercules, the oldest working lighthouse in the world which lies between Orzán Bay and the Artabrian Gulf.

Competitors will demonstrate their expertise in architectural illustration and animation over the course of two months and the winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to Mundos Digitales 2008 in La Coruna, Spain to present their work.

Competitors will be judged by the CGarchitect community and a panel of expert judges who will have the final say on the top 5 finalists in the competition.

The winning entry will be announced at an awards ceremony during the 2008 Mundos Digitales conference in La Coruna, Spain where the winner will present their work to the a worldwide audience.
